Docker - Networking - Part 3 - Creating bridge networks with subnets in Linux

Nisan 5, 2015 by

In earlier articles, we looked how to identify docker networks in our linux system and inspect an existing one in Linux.

In this article, we will look to create a new one as bridge.

Following command is used to create a network in Linux.

docker network create

Lets see it in ubuntu linux shell example.

USA citadel

In above docker example, we created a new docker network for single-host mode in linux. In parameters, "--subnet" indicates our docker network subnet. With "-d" we defined type of network and at the end we placed our network name.
